Cut and Stitch Cookie Pillow Case
Cut and Stitch Cookie Pillow Case
How do wildfires catalyze logging of big old trees? Take a seat on this skidder pillow and think about that for a minute or two....
The “Cut-and-Stitch Cookie” is a hand crafted, 17 x 17” reversible pillow case. The front side features a silkscreen printed Douglas Fir cookie with a classic timber sawmill cut pattern machine embroidered in fire engine red. The reverse side fabric is an upcycled vintage Hudson Bay Buffalo Plaid shirt, complete with original buttons.
All proceeds from the sale of this fundraising art will be used to employ landscape architecture students on the Lookout Landscape, an art and design collaborative project exploring the climate crisis through the lens of the PNW forests and the regions iconic wildfire lookout towers.
