Considering their ongoing support of innovative practice and efforts to solving environmental issues, I’m delighted to have published an article in the October issue of Landscape Architecture Frontiers (LAF). LAF is a refreshingly critical, bilingual landscape architecture journal based out of Beijing. My article, “Graphic Adaptation,” considers the creative practice of communicating ecological issues with an inspired combination of art and design in order to fill the gap left by conventional landscape architecture visualization techniques. I explore recent projects including Wild West at BDGA, Forman Watercolor Diagrams, and my ongoing Trifecta Editions Residency…all in the context of engaging an informed public to solve pressing ecological principals.
